Finding Comfort in Cardmaking

My friend and I got together twice this week and made some cards. We have speeded up the process by choosing three card we would like to make before we get together. Then we are off and running when we meet. We have also been making a card or two when we are not together. I wish you could be a fly on the wall and listen to us. We sing, we talk, we laugh, we just have a good time and at the same time we accomplish something. Sometimes it's just the two of us and sometimes it's one or two more with us, but no matter how many there are, it's a fellowship, sometimes it's a worship service.
The first cards are for our next card class at church. The class will make two of these cards and decorate a binder clip. This should be fun.

Cards, Cards, Cards . . .

Hello everyone, here are some cards I have made in the last few days. I am just getting around to putting these on my blog. Of course, my friend and I were together when I made some of them. Then I was at home with nothing pressing to do, so I decided to work on a few. But just the same, it's always so enjoyable and relaxing. I do want you to know that some of the designs are not my own, but I get them from blogs and sketches I enjoy viewing. Thanks to all the ladies who are so very talented. I hope you see some that you like and try your hand at making them. Let me know what you think. Until next time, Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

Two Days for Cardmaking

This week my friend and I got together twice to make cards. Tuesday and Thursday was dedicated to cardmaking. Of course, we had fun as usual. This is my selection of cards that I made. We don't ever know what we are going to make for the day, but we try to always make three cards. I would like to hear from you to let me know if you like the cards or not. Until next time, have a blessed day.

Church - Card Class II

Sister Joyce, Sister Jackie and Lanette are really working on the cards for today's class. Today we let the class do their cards for themselves. We just brought the cardstock and other materials they might need and they did all the rest. Usually we cut all the pieces they need per card and fix kits for each one. Since we decided to do things differently this time, it worked out fine. Hopefully the class liked it this way too. The last three cards are of each of them showing off their work. Sister Dungey, Sister Biles and Sister Floyd. We had several out of class today because this is Mother's Day weekend. Happy Mother's Day Everyone!

Card Class at Church

These first three pictures are of the cards my friend and I worked on before the class. We always do ours before class so that they will have the card to look at and be able to create theirs from what they see.
The other photo is of our fearless instructor, Lanette and Sis. Dungey going through old card samples.

Another Day for Cardmaking

Hello everyone, Here are the cards I made yesterday when my friend and I got together at her house. We always have so much fun. We started about 11:00 a.m. and finished around 7:00 p.m. Of course we always take time out to eat and go to Hobby Lobby and Michael's. This Sunday is Mother's Day, so Happy Mother's Day to all.
