No Relief In Sight

Hello everyone. Usually when you hear the words from this title, you think there is a problem. Well there is a slight problem, but it's a good one. In my last blog post, I said that I have cards everywhere and the number is still raising. Here are some more cards I made this past week. The first two were made one night as I sat at home watching television. The others were made yesterday when my friend and I got together. Thanks again to some of the blogs I visit. Until next time. . . (A.S.A.P. - Always Say A Prayer)

Cards . . . Everywhere

Hello everyone. I want you to know that I didn't get lost this time going to my freinds house. I went the way I know. We jumped right in making cards. The first picture are the cards I made at home. I couldn't sleep, so I made use of my time. Cardmaking relaxes me so I made these cards and when I got finished I was sleepy. The photo at the bottom are the cards I made when my friend and I got together. I running into a slight problem. I am beginning to accumulate so many cards that I'm running out of space for them. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Until next time . . .

Cardmaking Day Gone Wild

Well Hello everyone. My friend and I met on Wednesday around 11 a.m to make cards. O.K., I must confess that we were suppose to meet at 10:30, but I made this brilliant decision to take a different turn to get to her house quicker and that turned out to be the wrong thing to do. I went down some roads that I have never seen before in my life and I have lived here for 52 years. Well after going and going, I decided I had better turn around and go back. I even called my friend to let her know why I hadn't arrived and while trying to explain, my cell phone dropped the call. What a crazy start for the day. I finally got back to the street I was familiar with and made it on to my freinds house. She was really laughing at me. Then we seriously got down to business. Here are the cards I made. Usually we would make three cards, but now we choose which cards we want to make the night before so when we get together we have more time to make more cards. I made eight cards. The one at the bottom is a remake because I had given the two of that kind away to friends for their birthday. It is one of my favorites. Hope you see some you like and make them. Again, thanks to all the ladies on some of my favorite blogs for their cardmaking. They help keep me inspired.

Card Class at Church

Card Class at Church

It was time for our next card class and as usual the ladies as well as us really had a blast. It is always exciting to see how the ladies respond to the card we choose for them to make. As you can see they really get into it. We had a couple of our ladies absent, but those who did attend made the cards with no problem. The pictures show them at work and then the smiles they have on their faces when they see their finished product. I wish I knew how to get more pictures on one blog, but I don't so bear with me until I learn how.

Passing the Time

Hello everyone! I'm beginning to make cards faster than I can blog them. Here are some that I made just to pass the time. I'm not a person who stays in the house because I love to stay busy and I usually am, but the humidity has been so bad that I am forced to stay in more. I have a lot of work to do with all the individuals and organizations I'm connected to but I find time to work in some cardmaking. I really enjoy it. At times I have to make myself quit so I can get back to doing other things that have a deadline lingering. I really enjoy all my work and that's the best way to be. It makes doing it so much easier. Well I probably will be making more cards real soon so keep looking.

July 4th Weekend

Hello everyone! Hope you had a happy and safe 4th of July weekend. Mine was just that. I spent time with those in my family that were home. We had seven family members that went out of town. Those of us that were here had a good time together with plenty of food. Even though it rained, we were still outside under the carport. It was kind of a busy day for me. I had to be at church to sing for a friend's family reunion. So I hurried and ate then came home and changed clothes then went to church. Good thing I live next door from were we ate. The service at the church was really good. They also had plenty of food after the service. I came home shortly thereafter and began to work on making a card or two before bed. The cards you see here, I made during this weekend. I usually have good intentions about making cards then I somehow can't seem to get started and the next thing I know it's time for bed. Well this time I was determined to get something done. I think I did good. It's hard for me to get motivated when I work by myself. But I am proud of myself this time. My cardmaking friend is out of town visiting her sister. I know she will be surprised to see I made five cards. Again thank those who make cards and post them for others to try or to get some ideas from. Most of my cards are those I see on Splitcaost. I am so surprised at myself for being able to make these cards. And I do enjoy doing this. Hope you like these cards and I hope you try making them also. Until next time . . . . .
