I just love, love, love cardmaking and scrapbooking. Come on and take a look, but be careful because it's addictive.

Cards for Class
Hello everyone, here are the cards we chose for the card class at church. My friend and I always create them first, then take our designs to class for the them to do. We always have so much fun before class and at class and the attendees make it all worthwhile. Our card class will be May 9th. My friend and I will probably get together before then and make some more cards. So until then.

Oh What A Relief It Is!
Hello everyone, here are the cards I came up with yesterday from Poetic Artistry's new release challenge. I had had a hard week and a cold on top of it and needed some time to get away from home and make some cards. That always seems to relax me. I went to my friends house and we got busy. I felt better after we began. If cardmaking could be bottled and sold I believe it makes you feel just as good as some medicine. So until next time. . . . .

Another Cardmaking Day
Hello everyone, I had another chance to go to my friends house yesterday and make cards. As usual, we had fun. She also cooked dinner for us then we went back to cardmaking. It's good to have someone who shares the same interest as you do. I made three cards at her house. They are the first, second and fourth cards shown here. The other one I made at home tonight. It was a new experience for me, but I did it. I have to thank my friend, my cardmaking teacher, for showing and sharing her knowledge with me. I also want her to know that she has been a lifesaver for me. She has opened her home to me to join her when she makes cards, but she don't know how much it has helped me to just get away for a while. Thanks my friend! Until next time. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

A Day For Cardmaking
Hello everyone, What a day! My friend and I spent the whole day making cards. It was so good to have a day just to relax and do what we enjoy. There wasn't no doctor's appointment, no phones constantly ringing, no where we had to staop and go. Oh how I long for more days like this. Here are the cards I made today. Of course, I decided to make more than one of each style. My friend and I usually end up making one for each other. I hope you like these. Maybe it won't be long before I get another chance to make more cards. Until next time . . .

A Busy Weekend
Hello everyone,
It has been a very busy weekend, especially Saturday but it was all good. Saturday morning I got up and cooked what I was to bring to my Aunt's 83rd suprise birthday brunch. It was at one of her daughter's house. I arrive there at 10 a.m. and we got thing set up and several of her friends came over. When her other daughter brought her in the house and we hollered "Happy Birthday", she was just really surprised. She is the only older member of our family we still have and believe me, she is the Rock.
Then after the brunch was over, I went home for a minute to regroup. It wasn't long before time to go to another surprise 60th birthday bash for a husband of a friend. It was a catered affair. They had told him that he had to be the speaker for this event of an organization he holds dear to his heart, so he thought he was going to help them. When he entered the building and everyone said "Surprise" he said his knees almost buckled. He was so touched that he cried.
Sunday morning, me and a group of friends went to support one of our female evangelist from our church as she spoke at a church out of town. It was a joyous time.
So my weekend was full and really that's how I like it.
