Another Friday Night

Hello Everyone,
I had another quite Friday night at home and I knew exactly what I eould do. I have a llot to get done before July. I'm one of those people who has to get things ready and in order if I'm going to be involved. I like to be prepared. Here are some of the cards I made in the last two days. WOW! I'm getting better

Hello Everyone! I'm still going and going. Here are some more cards I've made. I have been trying to make some of the cards that I didn't think I would. I see them and I just think they are so pretty. Never did I think I could make them or it might have been that I didn't want to extend myself. I must admit, since I started making cards, I am truly hooked. I try to mak 2 or 3 cards a night. I am preparing for a card bazaar at my church and the card display at the Women's conference I mentioned in another blog. I'm looking forward to both of them and even more if the opportunity presents itself. I thank God for this ministry and I hope to be a blessing to someone else. Until next time . . . . .

Preparing to try something new

Hello everyone, it's me again. I have been making cards and preparing myself to try something new. We have been thinking about doing a bazaar. In order to do that and be successful, we need to have many kinds of cards. I guess it helps when you enjoy making them. So here are a few more cards I have made lately. I will be blogging more of them as I get them made. Wish us luck on the Bazaar and maybe we will be able to do this every once in a while throughout the year. We also have been donating some of our cards to our church for them to send out for whatever ocassion and to whomever they need to. We are also planning to have our cards on display in October during the Collaborative Women's Conference. Well we'll be letting you know more as we more forward. Until next time . . . . .

April Card Class

Well Hello Everyone,
It was finally time for our Church card class. We didn't have a class in March and it seemed to be forever since we had one. All our members are doing so many things that our class has not been what it should be. We've also had some sickness among us. But all in all we thank God for all His grace and mercy. We had one member at this class and we taught her just as much as we would have our whole class. Sis. Martha's cards turned out to be so beautiful as you can see. One of our members came and showed us her work from last month and this month's homework. Since we are using a point system, we hope this will encourage them to show us what they can do. We gave out a bucket of goodies to our first winner with the most points in March. That was Sis. Dungey and there were some items in the bucket that she had been wanting. Well, we had fun as usual. Just Love Making Cards

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I blogged. Last Saturday my friend and I attended an women's expo. It had several vendors there. Among them were demonstrators from stampin up and creative memories. We sat in on a make and take at the stampin up booth. We made bookmarks. We also sat in on the cooking sessions from different restaurants, then they served the food to all of us.
Well along with doing all the things I do, I have been trying to prepare myself for a Women's conference that will be held this year. I have been asked to have some of my cards displayed. I really appreciated the fact that I was asked. I am excited! I have been making at least 2 or 3 cards a night besides the cards that I have to make for our card class at church and the homework cards we do each month. Card Class for March 6th

Hello everyone, Hope all is well with you. We had our card class on the 6th of March, but it must have been one of those days. Believe it or not, nobody showed for class. We had some sick, some out of town and some that just didn't show. Well the class knows they have until the end of the month to show us their work. Hopefully they have made some beautiful cards. Here are the ones I made. At the top are the one we would have made in class and the others are the homework that was due. Our next class is April 10th and I hope we will have our class back together. When we don't get together it just feels like something is missing. We had a gift for the person who had the most points for this 3 months and the winner was Sis. Linda Dungey. I know she will be pleased with the gift. It was a can which can be used for trash when she make cards. It is filled with ink, stamps, copic markers, etc. Congratulations Sister Dungey!
